2 Nights Camel Trekking in Merzouga Desert – Morocco Camel Tour

Enjoy an unforgettable 2-night camel trekking adventure in the Merzouga desert! This special trip takes you deep into the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll visit a nomad family and spend two nights in the Sahara.

You will ride camels through the golden sand dunes and enjoy the peace and beauty of the desert. For your stay, you can choose between a luxury desert camp with private tents or a simple traditional camp. Both camps offer delicious food and a chance to sleep under the stars in a real nomadic-style tent.

This is a perfect way to experience the calm, magic, and culture of the Moroccan desert!

This 2-night camel trek in Merzouga starts in the evening around 5 or 6 PM. We begin the ride from a hotel near the Erg-Chebbi dunes. The camels carry all our food and supplies for the trip.

The camel ride lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes as we head deep into the desert. On the way to the camp, you can enjoy beautiful views of the sunset and take amazing photos. When we arrive, we will climb the high dunes to watch the sunset. At night, the sky is clear, and the stars shine brightly—a truly magical experience. You’ll have a tasty dinner and sleep in traditional nomad tents.

The next morning, after breakfast, we ride camels to visit a nomad family. You’ll see how they make Berber pizza and enjoy it for lunch. After relaxing with the nomads, we ride back to the camp. When we arrive, you can try sandboarding and visit an oasis in the dunes. We walk back to camp to watch the sunset.

On the third morning, after sunrise, we ride the camels back to Merzouga. You will have breakfast and a shower at the hotel to finish the trip.
