Day 1Day 1: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Skoura – Kasbah Amridil – Valley of Roses – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges

Your 4 days in Morocco desert tour from Ouarzazate starts at the agreed place in Ouarzazate. First, you will visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a 13th-century old village and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This beautiful place has narrow streets and has been in many movies like Gladiator and Sahara.

After that, you travel to Skoura oasis, where you will visit Kasbah Amridil, a well-preserved old castle and learn about its history. Then, the road takes you through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley with its amazing views. You will finish the day at Todra Gorges, where you will have dinner and stay overnight in a hotel or riad.

Day 2Day 2: Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, your Ouarzazate desert tour continues with a visit to the Todra Gorges. You can walk around and see the tall cliffs and narrow sky above. Then, you will head to Merzouga, passing through Tinjdad and the Tatilalet Oasis near Erfoud, known for its Date Festival. Next, you visit Rissani, the home of the Moroccan royal family.

Along the way, you can explore old underground water channels that keep the land green and stop in Erfoud to see many fossils made into art. Lunch will be in a Berber village. In the afternoon, you arrive at your desert camp, where you will have tea and then enjoy a camel ride to watch the sunset on the dunes. Dinner and a night in a nomad tent will complete this special day.

Day 3: Exploring Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Merzouga area. You will visit two beautiful oases, the wandering desert deposits, and the village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music. You will also see the Mifiss mines and meet Berber nomads who live in the desert. Later, you return to your hotel to relax and enjoy the peaceful desert views. This day gives you a real experience of the Sahara and local life.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Nkob – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

If you wake up early, you can enjoy a wonderful desert sunrise. After breakfast, your 4 days itinerary continues back to Ouarzazate. You will stop again in Rissani, the start of the Alaouite royal family.

Then, you pass through Berber villages like Alnif and Nkob, and travel through the palm-filled Draa Valley to Agdez, where you will have lunch. After lunch, you continue your way back to Ouarzazate. You should arrive in the late afternoon. If you have a flight, you will have time to get to the airport. This ends your 4 days desert tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga Sahara.
