Next, we drive through Midelt, the Ziz Valley, and Erfoud, famous for fossils. Then, we arrive in Merzouga, where you will enjoy a camel trek in the Sahara and spend a magical night in a desert camp under the stars.
The journey continues through Rissani and the impressive Todra Gorges before reaching the beautiful Dades Valley. We also visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your 7 days Morocco itinerary from Casablanca to Marrakech starts with a pick-up from the airport, port, or your hotel. Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. First, we visit the famous Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco, with a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean. After some free time for lunch, we explore the city, including the beautiful Corniche of Casablanca. Overnight stay in a hotel.
After breakfast, we leave Casablanca and drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Here, we visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. After lunch, we drive through the Rif Mountains to reach the beautiful Blue City of Chefchaouen, known for its blue-painted buildings and charming streets. Overnight in a hotel in Chefchaouen.
In the morning, you have free time to explore the blue alleyways of Chefchaouen. Then, we drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with impressive mosaics and historical remains. Next, we visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. We explore Bab Al-Mansour, the Royal Stables, Sahrij Souani, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later, we continue to Fes, where we spend the night in a traditional riad.
Today, we explore Fes, the cultural and religious heart of Morocco. Our local guide will take you to the Royal Palace gate, the old Medina (a UNESCO site), Bab Boujloud, Medrasa Bouanania, Nejjarine Fountain, the Tanneries, and Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest university in the world. After visiting the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), we drive to a panoramic viewpoint for a great view of Fes Medina. Overnight in your riad.
After breakfast, we travel south to the Sahara Desert. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, we visit the Cedar Forest, home to wild Barbary macaques. After a lunch break in Midelt, we drive through Ziz Valley with amazing views before reaching Merzouga. Here, we switch to camels and ride into the desert, stopping to watch the sunset over the dunes. We arrive at a desert camp, where we enjoy Berber music, dinner, and a night under the stars.
Wake up early to see the sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, we ride camels back to Merzouga and drive to Rissani, an old trading town. Then, we visit Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops. Next, we continue to Todra Gorges, a stunning canyon with tall rock walls, perfect for walking and taking photos. After lunch, we drive through the Dades Valley, stopping at Monkey Fingers rock formation before reaching our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

I went to morocco with my friend, we booked 10 days trip from marrakech to fes by a range of wonderful places , chefchaouen , Tangier , Rabat , Meknes , Fes, essaouira, the sahara desert… we visited all this places with our guide Hamid , he is a good guide all the time with us , if you are going to morocco do not hesitate you will enjoy all time , good people different culture , beautiful places … i recommend
The camel ride to the desert camp takes about 1 hour each way. If you prefer, you can take a 4×4 instead of riding a camel.
You should bring comfortable clothing, walking shoes, warm clothes for the night, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, a small backpack for personal items, and a camera or phone to capture the beautiful desert scenery.
If you have back or knee issues, you can skip the camel trek and take a 4×4 vehicle to the desert camp instead. Let us know in advance, and we will arrange a comfortable transfer for you.
