We begin our 10 day Morocco itinerary by picking you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Then we drive through the High Atlas Mountains and cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass with amazing views and small Berber villages. We stop to visit the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After our visit and lunch in a traditional restaurant, we continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa.” Here, we visit the famous movie studios before spending the night in a local hotel or riad.
After breakfast, we continue our Morocco 10 day itinerary by driving through small villages made of clay and stone. We pass through Rose Valley, famous for its rose products, and reach Kalaat M’Gouna, known for rose farming. After enjoying the beautiful valley, we arrive in Boumalne Dades. We follow the scenic road along the Dades Valley with its old houses made of clay. Overnight stay in a local hotel or riad.
Today we travel from Boumalne Dades to the Todra Gorges near the town of Tinghir. These tall canyons are perfect for photos and short walks. After that, we continue to Erfoud, known for its fossils, and then drive straight to the Merzouga Desert. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a camel ride across the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. We watch a beautiful sunset in the desert before reaching our luxury desert camp, where we will spend the night under the stars.
We start the morning with sunrise views and breakfast at the camp. Then we begin exploring the desert. We will visit a nomad family to learn about their way of life. After that, we go to Khamlia village, where you can enjoy Gnawa music performed by locals. We return to Merzouga for lunch, then walk around the village and visit Hassilabied, where we stay the night in a hotel or riad.
Today we continue our 10 day Morocco itinerary from Marrakech by driving through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm trees and green views. We stop at the panoramic view in Errachidia, then head to Midelt, a town between the Middle Atlas Mountains. We have lunch and spend the night in a quiet hotel.

We explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, see the beautiful gardens, and visit the famous Hassan Tower, which was started in the 12th century. After enjoying Rabat, we spend the night in a hotel or riad.
On the last day of our Morocco travel itinerary 10 days, we drive from Rabat to Casablanca. Along the way, we pass through several towns and stop for pictures. In Casablanca, we visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and one of the few in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors. The camel ride to the desert camp takes about 1 hour each way. If you prefer, you can take a 4×4 instead of riding a camel.
You should bring comfortable clothing, walking shoes, warm clothes for the night, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, a small backpack for personal items, and a camera or phone to capture the beautiful desert scenery.
If you have back or knee issues, you can skip the camel trek and take a 4×4 vehicle to the desert camp instead. Let us know in advance, and we will arrange a comfortable transfer for you.
