 Verified Enjoyable family experience Our family of five landed in Marrakech a full 24 hrs late due to flight issues but Hamid & Mustafa were right there patiently waiting for us at the airport at 2:00AM. It was evident that point on that we were in absolutely good hands for the entire duration of the trip. We enjoyed every moment of the trip. It was so relaxed and at our pace ( with kids). We had sufficient time to explore and soak in all the places. The Riad arrangements were awesome. The food stops were well thought. At one point our son left his laptop behind ( he is wired into his school work) but Hamid & Mustafa worked their contacts to have the laptop to us before we left Morocco.  Verified The best travel experience ever! Qw did the 10 day trip with Hamid, everything about this trip was amazing, every city we visited had something different. Who knew that Morocco was such a diverse country. Hamid our guide was so accommodating and always put our needs first. He gave us tips that were so useful. Day 1Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

Your Tangier 5 days desert tour starts with a warm welcome at the airport, port, or your hotel. Our friendly driver will meet you and begin the journey.

We will travel to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city in the Rif Mountains. Once we arrive, you will check into a comfortable riad or hotel. You will have free time to walk through the charming blue-painted streets, visit local markets, and relax at a cozy café. Chefchaouen is a peaceful and beautiful town, perfect for taking pictures and enjoying Moroccan culture.

In the evening, you will stay in a riad or hotel, resting for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2Day 2: Chefchaouen - Fes

After breakfast, we continue the 5 days desert tour from Tangier with a drive to Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest cities.

When we arrive, a local guide will take you on a tour of Fes Medina, a UNESCO-listed site full of history and culture. Walk through the narrow streets, visit old buildings, and see traditional workshops. You can also enjoy a delicious lunch in the Medina, where you can taste authentic Moroccan food.

In the evening, you will relax at a beautiful riad inside the Medina, experiencing the charm of this historic city.

Day 3: Fes - Ifrane - Middle Atlas Mountains - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we continue the 5 days Morocco desert tour from Tangier itinerary with a trip to the Sahara Desert.

Our first stop is Ifrane, a small town known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its European-style buildings and cool weather. We then drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop at a cedar forest, where you can see Barbary apes.

We continue the journey through Ziz Valley, an area full of palm trees and beautiful landscapes. After a lunch stop, we reach the Merzouga desert in the afternoon.

In Merzouga, you will enjoy a camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will stop to watch a magical sunset before arriving at a luxury desert camp. Here, you will relax in your private tent, have a tasty dinner, and enjoy Berber music around the fire under the starry sky.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert dunes. After breakfast, you can either take a camel ride back or travel by 4×4 to meet your driver in Merzouga.

We continue the Tangier desert 5 days to Marrakech with a stop in Rissani, where you can visit the local market (if it is market day). Next, we drive to Todra Gorge, a beautiful canyon with tall cliffs. You can take a relaxing walk along the river and enjoy the fresh air.

Later, we head to Dades Valley, known for its amazing rock formations called “Monkey Fingers.” You will stay overnight at a hotel in the valley, where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 5: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

On the last day of your 5 days desert tour from Tangier, we drive towards Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Here, you can visit Atlas Studios, where many famous movies were filmed.

Next, we visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a well-preserved kasbah. You can walk through the ancient streets and learn about its history.
