 Verified Enjoyable family experience Our family of five landed in Marrakech a full 24 hrs late due to flight issues but Hamid & Mustafa were right there patiently waiting for us at the airport at 2:00AM. It was evident that point on that we were in absolutely good hands for the entire duration of the trip. We enjoyed every moment of the trip. It was so relaxed and at our pace ( with kids). We had sufficient time to explore and soak in all the places. The Riad arrangements were awesome. The food stops were well thought. At one point our son left his laptop behind ( he is wired into his school work) but Hamid & Mustafa worked their contacts to have the laptop to us before we left Morocco.  Verified The best travel experience ever! Qw did the 10 day trip with Hamid, everything about this trip was amazing, every city we visited had something different. Who knew that Morocco was such a diverse country. Hamid our guide was so accommodating and always put our needs first. He gave us tips that were so useful. I cannot recommend him enough, we will definitely be back and use Hamid from culture desert tours again. The whole trip was organised to perfection, thank you so much Hamid. Day 1Agadir - Talouen - Taznakht - Ouarzazate

Your 3 days Agadir desert tour starts early in the morning from Agadir as you drive through the beautiful landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. The first stop is Talouen, a small town famous for its saffron farms. You will have a chance to visit a saffron cooperative and learn how this valuable spice is harvested. Then the road continues to Taznakht, a village known for its traditional Berber carpets.

If you’re interested, you can visit a local carpet workshop and see how women weave colorful designs by hand. After lunch, the drive takes you through rocky hills and wide-open valleys until you reach Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Here you can explore the famous Kasbah Taourirt or take a walk in the peaceful city streets. You will spend the night in a comfortable hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 2Ouarzazate - Skoura - Rose Valley - Dades Gorges - Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga Sahara Desert

After breakfast, your desert tour continues through the Skoura oasis, where you’ll see old kasbahs hidden among palm trees. Then you’ll travel to the Rose Valley, a place known for its beautiful pink roses that bloom every spring. You can stop at a local shop to try rose-scented products. Next, you’ll pass through the stunning Dades Gorges with their strange rock formations and deep canyons.

The road continues to Tinghir and the famous Todra Gorges, where the cliffs rise high on both sides—perfect for walking and taking photos. Later in the day, you drive through Erfoud, known for its fossils, before reaching Merzouga, where the golden sand dunes of the Sahara appear.

Day 3Merzouga - Agdez - Draa Valley - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Wake up early to catch the magical sunrise over the Sahara dunes, a truly unforgettable sight. After breakfast at the desert camp, you ride back by camel or 4×4 and begin the drive towards Marrakech. The road takes you through the quiet village of Agdez and into the long and green Draa Valley, full of date palms and small mud-brick villages. You will follow the valley’s path until it meets the mountains.

As you climb higher into the High Atlas Mountains, the road becomes winding and offers amazing views of deep valleys, small Berber towns, and snow-capped peaks in the distance (in winter). Along the way, you can stop for tea or photos in mountain villages. Finally, by late afternoon or early evening, you arrive in Marrakech, full of beautiful memories and unforgettable moments from the Agadir desert tour.
