4 Days Morocco Tour from Rabat to Marrakech via Desert

After breakfast, we will start our 4 days Morocco tour from Rabat to Marrakech. Our first stop will be Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where we will visit the famous Bab El Mansour gate. Then, we will continue to Fes for a guided tour of the Medina. You will explore the Jewish Quarter, the Royal Palace Gate, Al Karaouine University, the Tanneries, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After a full day of discovering Fes, you will spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel in the heart of the Medina.

After breakfast, we will visit Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco,” before heading into the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop at the cedar forest near Azrou, where you can see wild monkeys. Our journey continues through Midelt, the stunning Ziz Valley, and Erfoud, a town known for its fossils. By the afternoon, we will arrive in Merzouga, where you will get ready for a camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, you will enjoy breathtaking views before arriving at a luxury desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.

Early in the morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch the sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast, we will ride camels back to the hotel and then drive toward Tinghir to explore the Todra Gorge, the highest and narrowest gorge in Morocco. You can walk along the river and admire the towering cliffs. Later, we will continue through the Dades Valley, where you will see the unique rock formations known as “monkey toes.” Dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel in Dades.

After breakfast, we will drive through the beautiful Dades Valley and follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Rose Valley and Skoura. We will stop at Skoura’s palm groves before visiting the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate. Next, we will explore the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a filming location for movies like Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Gladiator. In the afternoon, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, enjoying stunning views along the way. By evening, we will arrive in Marrakech, where we will drop you off at your accommodation, marking the end of this unforgettable 4 days Morocco tour.
